My Story
An artist from an early age, I taught myself how to design and build beautiful gardens. It began at the age of 13, installing lawns and irrigation systems with my brothers, and quickly became the foundation of a strong career path. With an artist's eye for design, craftsmanship and style, I began my career as a landscape designer / builder. Thirty-one years later, I continue to have the passion for design. After winning the Pasadena Beautiful Award two years in a row, at the age of 28 and 29, opportunities quickly opened up for me. Since then, I have designed and built a full range of gardens, from small bungalows to a 5 acre, 50 million dollar estate in Pasadena. Committed to introducing people to an entirely new and exciting side of landscape design, a side where rules can be broken and outdoor spaces can have a soul, I believe that landscape design, like any other type of design, is art in which we live our lives. Randall Moore Landscapes is a full service landscape design company servicing the Southern California Ventura area and Northern California Bay Area. With an eye for detail and a focus on creating organic outdoor spaces, I understand the client and the way they use their garden. The results always reflect my sharp sense of style and eye for beauty as well as each client's individual personality and lifestyle. I see landscapes as twisted strands of fabric, each strand representing the plants, structures, people, and natural world, all interdependent and constantly in a state of flux. That complex equation makes landscaping a constant source of inspiration.
